Call for Proposals
Please submit your presentation proposals by Friday January 10 for the 2025 IUBAAC Spring Conference to be held on Tuesday, February 25. The conference will kick off at 9:00 AM featuring a keynote and concurrent sessions led by advisors, advising administrators, and career services professionals from the IUB community.
Proposals should be 250-300 words, connect in some way with one or more of the NACADA Academic Advising Core Competencies, and result in conference presentations anticipated to be 45-50 minutes long.
The committee welcomes all proposals for workshops, panels, or presentations on any of the following topics:
- Advising Practice
- Advisor Wellbeing
- Advocating for Advisors and/or students
- Allyship
- Equity, Justice, Inclusion, Diversity
- History/Philosophy of Advising
- Independent Research
- New programs/initiatives
- Post-graduation/ grad school/ career conversations
- Professional Development
- Student Success
- Technology
- Resources
- Other topics of interest
We encourage submissions of work at all stages of development. Proposals are due by Friday, January 10. Decisions will be made by Friday, January 24.
